The Hickman Senior Living Center
Our story began in 2023 when the three of us—Jake Altman, Desmond Saito, and Andrei Zabat—founded Elderly Assistance, a club at our high school dedicated to serving senior citizens in our community. Through our work with The Hickman, a senior living community in West Chester, we saw firsthand the challenges many older adults face, particularly those affected by Alzheimer's disease. Inspired by the residents we met and the families impacted by memory loss, we decided to take action. What started as a shared passion for helping others grew into a mission to raise awareness and support Alzheimer's research, with the hope of creating a future free from this devastating disease.
